Downtown Development Authority
A Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is designed to be a catalyst in the development of our community's downtown district. The DDA provides for a variety of funding options, including millage and tax increment financing for public improvements in the downtown district.
Our Vision is to facilitate a positive daily lifestyle beneficial to residents and visitors alike. Capitalizing on our beautiful natural resources and rich heritage, we hope to ensure Michigamme as a premier destination for both recreationalists and business entities while maintaining the values of our local community

The DDA Meeting is held on the first Monday of every month at 6:00 PM.
